I originaly purchased this book to learn how to interact with the rich and how to meet rich potential clients. However it was just what I needed to learn to be the polished lady that is taught to young girls in finishing school. I wished I had this earlier in life (I am in my late 30's and married 3 years). This book is awesome and sure to be a classic. Buy it now because I will never, ever sell my copy.
The book has provided me with very useful information on how to marry the Rich. I have always wondered what it takes and fell on this book by cheer curiosity. I now have my answer...many thanks to Ginie Sayles for sharing such a great wealth of information
Ginie Sayles is someone I basically stumbled on somehow on the web. She's brilliant. I hope someday I could see her in person.
This book is really good at describing how to do business with different styles of people. If you're interested in understanding the world of wealth and moving into it, I really recommend this book. She is one of the smartest people I've ever read, and I read a bunch of this crap. So worth it because it's not philosophical, it's realistic and practical, as well as intriguing - windows into different worlds, so to speak. So much information here for climbers and goal-oriented business people.
I'm nothing short of impressed with this book. Ginnie Sayles knows her stuff. If you want to get rich clients, friends or a lover, this is the book for you. There's four different parts to this guide and she goes in to a lot of detail in each one. I'd recommend this for college-level business and sociology classes. I would be careful with the advice on how to dress, since the recommendations seem a little old fashioned, but other than that, anyone can use this advice. I'm especially impressed with her chapter on getting comfortable with the rich, because I think most people are pretty intimidated with those of the upper class and may not exactly be sure as to how they should act without coming off as fake. This book is a keeper!

The book is well organized, and well researched. I must say though, I think this was very much based on a small niche of Americans and I believe there are many more types of rich and behavior that could have been included here, however it has left room for another book

Tastefully written, this book breaks down everything from the different types of rich (I thought there was just old and new), to how you should dress, act, where you need to go, etc. It's more of a reference guide than just a one time read. Ms. Sayles gives you an actual itinerary of what/where you should be doing each day if you want to land your RM (Rich Mate). If you're ready to upgrade, this is your guidebook.
My goal in buying this book was not so much to chase money as to learn more about class differences and expectations. I really thought she did an excellent job of going into detail about the upper classes and pointing out the different variations of the upper classes. I am from the lower classes and over the past few years my volunteering and children have put me in situations where I have had to interact with the much more rich and upper classes. This book has helped me understand them better. I know I will feel much more confident in dealing with people like this in the future. Thank You Ginie Sayles for tackling the rather "taboo" subject of class differences in society and being very open & honest about it!
